Wilbur is new in the barn and he's looking for a friend. He turns to the horse, the geese, and the cows for friendship, but ultimately finds a friend in Charlotte, the spider. While everyone in the barn shies away from Charlotte, Wilbur is attracted to her kindness and gentle spirit. Children will delight as they read about this unlikely friendship between pig and spider.
